It is now well recognised that domestic and family violence is a workplace issue that can impact on an employee’s safety, wellbeing, attendance and performance at work. In particular, intimate partner violence is likely to be the most prevalent form of this violence affecting the workforce. Evidence now suggests that effective workplace responses to intimate partner violence are based on a coordinated approach across all levels of organisations.
This training is an introduction for those who want a better understanding of how to safely and appropriately respond to employees experiencing violence in their personal relationships.
Completing the workshop will build your knowledge and skills of interventions at the individual and organisation levels that contribute to safer workplaces.
