Event Details

The team at QCDFVR warmly invites you to the 17th Annual Queensland Indigenous Family Violence Prevention Forum: Growing Stronger. Our much-loved event brings together workers and champions from across our state and beyond – to learn, share, inspire and work together to keep our families strong. This year our Forum will look different! Due to COVID19 social distancing regulations, and recognising how technology is changing all of our lives, the event will have two attendance options.

“In person” attendance in the Brisbane venue will be limited, so we encourage you to register early to avoid disappointment if this options suits you.

“Virtual” attendance will be available this year, so if you can’t be in Brisbane City, you can still be part of the Forum by joining the livestream link. Registration for virtual attendance means you can choose to attend all sessions, or link in and out as you wish. A program will be available with all sessions listed.

In person registration includes meals during the event, the famous Forum Dinner, a Forum pack and an invitation to a pre-Forum evening event on Tuesday 11th May, the launch of a new Strong Women, Hard Yarns digital resource.

The first 80 registrants who purchase virtual tickets will also be posted a Forum pack that includes a conference bag and complimentary resources.

We look forward to sharing, reconnecting and meeting you all for the 2021 forum- either face-to-face or virtually. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us qcdfvronline@cqu.edu.au (07) 49 49403320.
