Need to know: Coercive control and domestic and family violence
Module 1 explores what coercive control is, how to identify patterns of behaviour and the impact it has on victim-survivors. Module 1 follows the story of Riley and their experience as a victim-survivor of coercive control. Throughout the module, Riley walks users through various topics such as the drivers and gendered nature of coercive control, and how it impacts different groups of people.
About the module
- This module is self-paced and will take approximately 50 minutes to complete.
- There are learning checkpoints throughout the module, where you will be quizzed with multiple choice questions to assess your understanding. You are required to complete each quiz before you can move on to the next section of the module. Don’t worry if you don’t get all answers correct, however it is recommended you read the correct answer when it is provided. There are no time limits to working through the quizzes and you can attempt each quiz as often as you need to.
- Once you have progressed through the entirety of the module, you will immediately receive a Certificate of Completion, which will then be available in your Account.
