The Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence Research (QCDFVR) is funded by the Queensland Government, with support from CQUniversity. Since 2002 the primary purpose of the QCDFVR has been to create and distribute knowledge to influence policy and practice in the field of domestic and family violence prevention.
QCDFVR is highly committed to working collaboratively with government and community agencies across the state to ensure its work continues to be relevant to sector needs. This involves the establishment and maintenance of databases containing names, email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses for subscribers and various advisory, working and reference groups associated with QCDFVR projects.

In addition to the above CQUniversity privacy safeguards, QCDFVR explicitly undertakes to ensure that personal information (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses) provided to QCDFVR by its stakeholders is not disclosed without the express permission of the individual/s concerned.
